Didn't Jeff say that these are non-transferrable if not outright soul-forged? I seem to remember being told that.... I am wondering since I have a HP regeneration COG.

I wasn't there but I thought someone posted that they could be traded amongst each other, but that he didn't want people to sell them. Again I don't know I just thought I read that somewhere.

I hadn't heard they were soul forged. I know a couple have been traded. If he's not ok with it I'm sure he will say something.

Please do not sell it. I allowed people at the event to trade among themselves, but they are meant to be soulforged.

That said, here are the tokens that absorb/reduce/eliminate fire damage:

ioun stone ruby rhombus -3 fire (rare)
charm of the lave fiend -2 fire (rare)
ring of fire absorption -3 fire (rare)
bracers of fire deflection -2 fire (uncommon)
ring of fire elemental command -5 fire and 2pts fire retribution (UR)

So, based on power alone the wooden cog you have is worth more than a rare but less than a UR. But then it is slotless, so probably worth a UR.

For a full list of tokens, there is always TokenDB's list of things that subtract damage from fire

I may or may not have recently been seeing how much fire resistance I could build into a character (I've got the cog of -10 fire)

I didn't include the SROEC because the -5 fire wooden cog doesn't approach the -10 of the SROEC.

That said, Fiddy's -10 fire wooden cog is worth quite a bit. But again, we aren't allowed to sell the wooden cogs, just trade them with other people who have them.

Even though we can't sell the Cogs, and I wouldn't anyways, I think they are cooler then the archery event this year.
