For all the fans who didn't know, here's the info straight from the horse's mouth:

"Very first virtual. That was the answer/final portal that showed the background for Nymph & Nimblewit in the puzzle that had the golems look into portals. Jeff’s first attempt at using virtual scenes in VTD."
