It inspired me to try fixing my 3D printer. I took it apart, put it back together. Fixed the issue it was having before, but now I need to re-calibrate the whole thing and reminded me why I hadn't fixed it before now. I liked my 3D printer when it just worked.

...and then I just ordered one from you, Trent, because that's a headache for another day and the cool multicolor printing isn't something I can do! Excited to finally have a better system than holding tokens in my pockets.

I completely understand and I'm glad that I can help!

That reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. :)

But is it an African Swallow? The movie was just on last night, timely. And someone beat me to the glow in the dark one...

I understand your printer also isn't operational right now, so that makes perfect sense. But the colors don't have anything to do with your printer - you just buy rainbow filament that goes through a color gradient as it unspools.

Or if you want a more stark change, you simply pause your print while it's doing infill and swap the filament.

I was making flimsy excuses to myself, mostly. I never thought of swapping filaments mid-print. That seems like asking for trouble, but I'm sure it works.

I've got mine and it's perfect. Magnets hold everything great, but they're easy enough to get the tokens out of on purpose.

I've tried swinging it around with tokens attached to the magnets and everything stayed in place.

If you fill it up with tokens and shake it upside down, the cork will come out, but you have to actually shake it, not just flip it over.

I'm looking forward to getting to use it in 2021!
