TOPIC: Giln's Redoubt Shield for sale

Hi all,
It's been a few years since I've been on. My brothers and I went on a run for nostalgia's sake at Gamehole this last weekend. It was a blast, and it's brought me back... I'll be building up a collection again and hopefully start to be active on the forums.

But, that's not really what this post is about:
My brother pulled a Giln's Redoubt Shield from the treasure box and would like to sell it. I have the token in my possession (as he's a lurker on the TD Forums).

Poking around online and on the forums, it looks like he can expect to bring in 1200-1400 for it. I thought I'd list it here before putting it out there on eBay, and see if we can't save everyone some fees. PM offers, or post them below.

Paul hasn't been around in a few years but he was a big seller when I started playing in 2011 (actually bought some of my starting tokens from one of his 8ks). I'd vouch for him as a good seller.

As for the shield, I have seen them go for closer to $1000, but your mileage may vary, depending on how long you want to hold out for.

As a lot of the old-timers know, the big C got in the way (first my son, and then my kidney) but we're both doing great now!

In fact, my son graduates from the Oncology Clinic on Wednesday... moving to the Survivor Clinic... he's officially 5 years past treatment as of now!

Excited to be back... and yeah... my heart skipped a couple beats when my brother pulled that...

I hope you get some good offers for the Shield. Lately, I've been seeing Legendaries go for lower than they ever have before, and this time of year is financially tight for most people, so it's not an ideal time to sell. Still, Giln's is a great token and I'm sure several people were planning to make it before GenCon - you might find someone who wants to pick up a nice Christmas Gift for themselves, or someone they love : )
