Jeff,

Will XP be available at GHC or WYC next year? I think it would be nice if all players could earn the full XP by doing 2 runs in a year... regardless of location or what run it is. So someone could do 2 runs at GHC and get the full amount for 2016 (assuming they are on HC/NM and survive). Or 1 at GHC and 1 at GC, for example.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

I assume no experience points for either non-GenCon runs?

Can you please post the URL that is not working for you? I can't seem to find a bad page.

WYC tickets will be done through the mail for AG members, and then online if some are still available.

GHC tickets will be done at the GHC website starting Aug. 1st.

I am guessing that tickets for the TD event are going to be hard to come by. The hotels filled up in a day.

The Clarion is booked, and the others listed only have a few rooms left, but they require a car to get to the convention center. Fortunately we are driving to Madison anyway.

I don't know. Tickets for TD at WYC were available for some time after they were made available to the everyone. Since it is TD's first year there I would imagine they won't be any harder to get than at Gen Con. But we shall see.

Glad to see TD is expanding....it's just in the wrong direction geographically! Hopefully there is a plan to move East to maybe Origins in the future :)

I wish you much success in this endeavor!

I booked Fri night at the Sheraton. GHC site says it's 10 min walk but we'll see I guess. I am driving too though. Don't know what parking is like around the convention center.

If it's (mostly) the same dungeon as WYC maybe I will sign up to volunteer.

I think the other hotels are across the street from the convention center. That is a 10 min walk because the parking lot is big. I walked it last year to eat at a restaurant. It wasn't that bad

This will be my forth year at GHC. It is way laid back.
It is probably my favorite con. The cost is a lot cheaper than others.
They will have about 25 VIG badges
Available when badges go on sale.
The main benifit to VIG is you can register for events early. Only get two special events per year. So you can play a game with Ed greenwood or dungeon bastard.

It looks to be about 2500 feet from the Sheraton. If by foot it will take navigating the John Nolan Drive.

There is a stop light there.
Also it isn't gen con. So if you don't stay close, parking hasn't been an issue ( yet)

There are still rooms available at the attached hotel. This is from the GHC This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. page:

Here is the skinny. There are still rooms at the Clarion. If anyone has problems, the GM's name is Ben. Here is what he just told me: "We still have Studio Suites with 1 Queen Bed and One Bedroom Suites with 1 Queen bed available in the block. "

Some front desk people have been saying otherwise...

Hazzah! Thank you, Jeff!

We were able to get a room at the Clarion. The confusion is about in block rooms versus out of block rooms. When you go through the web reservations, none are available, but those are not the in-block rooms.

You need to call in order to get in-block rooms. Make sure you mention that you are looking for the Gamehole Con block of rooms. There are some extra steps they need to go through to make the reservation, but rooms are available. It takes a bit of time, but the rooms are there. :woohoo:
