That's awesome. I really liked the last room. We were the last run of the con and had lots of fun in the room. NPC was awesome. GM was awesome. Great time was had by all. I ended the run with a crit to the head doing over 50 damage!

I believe that Jeff said that how that room looked was a preview for GenCon.

That's correct. As far as I understand a good chunk of the dungeon (perhaps even the storyscape?) will look like the lava caverns in room #7.

One part of the dungeon I bet, but the other is supposed to be a city right?

The dice shape puzzle

The rolling ball box puzzle

The Library/hidden text puzzle.

The silver mirror/letters puzzle

Will of the Wisp, mimic, salamander/lava creature

Everything was new to me, although I read about some of it on the forums before I think. The rolling ball puzzle I didn't like very much. It was more frustrating than fun. And (I assume) it was designed for 8 players, not 10. If it were up to me I'd have dropped that one for another combat. Having said that... everything else was fantastic. I really enjoyed the dungeon overall.

The panel with Jeff was great. Not surprised he's a fellow Diablo fan :) And my takeaway from that is how awesome True Realm sounded. A long, sprawling dungeon with multiple possible paths and endings? That sounds absolutely amazing. I hope that comes back some day.

You are right about the rolling ball puzzle. The party size was 8 when it debuted.

I liked the rolling ball puzzle... Thought it was fun even though it was obvious.

Our poor barbarian took so much damage during that puzzle. Luckily Kirk is beefy.

There was a quick step on the right bricks puzzle right before the demoness, and it required remembering a random slip of paper left in the library area 4 rooms back. The details varied a bit based on the difficulty running and they also were tweaking the particulars so it varied a bit by day as well. But basically you took damage for doing it wrong and had a bonus and/or healed for doing it right.

Did anyone else remember the step symbols by viewing it as pizza or was I just really hungry?

Team Yeti remembered it this way:

Go to the saloon
Have a martini
Drink with 3 friends
Meet a woman
Go for a "swing" with her
In the end we know what happened (the last figure was E-shaped)
"It's treason then."
