D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

AGREED!!!

Alright so I've read through this whole forum and I believe I understand what monster bits are but I dont think I understand th he difference between a monster bit and a monster trophy, would someone care to explain them? My understanding is that bits are used for transmuting (which I'm still trying to understand but it sounds cool!) But i don't see how trophies are different or better

As a side note I would love an underduck feather! Oh! What if it were a quill like the chalk to use for writing? But because it was an underdark duck feather you could use it without ink as long as you were in the underdark or deeper?

"Bits" is just slang for "trophy."

Ten make a Golden Fleece, but some recipes may use them as well. For instance, transmuting a Shirt of Blessed Strength requires either a 2015 trophy or 300gp.

Including trophies from 2013 forward could have an impact on the secondary market, so a lot of people are going to lobby against including them at such short notice. Putting 2016 trophies in the 2017 WYC boxes shouldn't be an issue, as long as people know before GenCon 2016 that that's what's going to happen.

Well then I fell silly  I shall go do more research of transmuting then!
