TOPIC: Brownie or Otter

Brownie or Otter 8 years 1 month ago #1

I am thinking of getting into a Hardcore polymorph run on Friday. It might be fun if I can get a wizard and elf wizard to join me, or me join them. I am just not sure if we should go as Brownie's or Otter's. It we go the Brownie route, we either need to bring cookies or actual brownies with us. Otter's can be fun, but will require more mischief.

Candygram!
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Depending on your time I would join you!

My vote is Brownie!

Looks like 7:12 is the only slot with all 10 tickets left, if we want to run just Brownies. Everything else on Friday spans events I already have. Saturday looks to have almost all the tickets sold. (which is excellent news for TD!)

May have to attach to a run with open slots. If so, I will probably wait until we get there, to run as a Brownie.

We have a Grind run on Saturday, so I will probably run as an otter there just so I can return the favor to Eric, run a Vorpal Otter (29-32 points per hit)

But you only get three slots for Poly (Druid and the Wizards) unless I am missing something. Hence if we find a run that has at least 3 tickets (more the better) but we don't need all 10 do we?

I had thoughts at one time of just running with 3 of us, but it looks like that is not going to work from a timing point of view.

So any run with 2-3 works. I am open Friday night after 7:00 and Saturday after 3:30, but we have to get done by 6:30. So far you are the only other taker. Can a wizard cast while in Brownie form?

TokenDB says "Characters cannot use spells or any physical items while polymorphed. They do, however, retain their initial Armor Class (though this particular potion adds +3), Hit Points, and any combat bonuses or penalties recorded on the party card. This token is used in the combat slider for attacks. This token will be collected by the DM after combat is concluded."

So unless Druid and you have the right item - Wild Vestments
