TOPIC: Ug! Runs?

Has anyone ever done an "Ug! Run"? As in, "Ug! I hate playing that class!"

Most of us veterans have our preferred class(es) and some not-so-preferred classes. I was just thinking it could be "interesting" to go on a run where everyone plays a class they wouldn't normally play.

E.g., if I were on an Ug! Run, I would play a wizard or druid. (In spite of what some forumites may think, I have nothing against those classes, but I've always avoided them because I think I would suck at their skill tests.) Lazlo would have to play a paladin. Bpsymington would have to play something other than wizard (I don't know if he hates to play any particular class.)

But would you go on a run where you played a cleric and everyone else played a class they hate?

Yeah I would be game. No one would get bonus healing lol.

To be clear, this thread isn't a poll asking what class(es) you avoid like the plague. I'm wondering if anyone else would think it might be a hoot to go on an Ug! Run.

I would be down for an Ug Run. I'd say my least fave caster would be Druid, non-caster Monk.

Also thought a run where everyone went in and randomized classes would be entertaining.

Sealed pack, random class run. That would be interesting.

+ everyone pools the sealed packs to build the classes, then after the tokens are assigned, random rolls for class assignment.

You would probably have to drop the second fighter and wizard classes.

This sounds most interesting and a little bit of fun to boot. Something to throw us all off what we're used to, and to keep us on our toes.

Druid would be my "first" choice there, and Wizard next.

Perhaps once tickets go on sale we could develop this further, if anyone else is game.

I'd be up for it. I like sealed pack run where everybody plays a class they have never played before (ideally far from what they normally play). For example I'd probably play a Wizard.

What will be interesting is not trying to respond to the call for your preferred class.
I know this always trips me up when I'm playing off-class and they call out that class.

Would this be a greedy Ug Sealed pack. I can (as I am sure Kirk can) supply 10 CoA.
