I don't have a problem with any class. But I'm just equipped to play Fighter/Dwarf/Paladin classes only. I used to be equipped to play the Magic-User classes, but I put those Tokens up for sale/trade today.

But I'd definitely play in an Ugh! Run.

Also thought a run where everyone went in and randomized classes would be entertaining.

Sealed pack, random class run. That would be interesting.

I like this idea alot.

a sealed pack random run sounds fun.

if this happens while I'm off shift (evenings are my free time) I'd love to join in.

count me in for an Ug! run too.

When we do our Greedy Sealed runs, I try and pick a class I don't normally play. It adds another layer of fun. Not sure which class I would consider an 'Ug!' class.

I'm (think obvious a lot of us are) masochistic enough to go for this. For me it'd be what's a spell? What do you mean i don't slide in combat? Long as it was sealed/greedy count me in. Getting to the point i enjoy more of this stuff than standard runs anymore.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

That statement is what concerns me regarding TD. People are having to "invent" interesting variations because the core game isn't holding their attention.

Here is hoping TPTBTM are watching, absorbing, and reacting.

I don't think that is true for 90 percent of the people that play. It is those of us that play multiple/multiple runs. Which might be even a lower percent.

I agree that normal TD runs are great fun but there comes a time when some people (such as my employer Squire Bowles) have more tokens than they can carry and different challenges are fun

To jedibcg and Squire Bowles - you are both correct. The not so obvious relationship is those people (doing multiple runs buying large token orders) is what TPTB should be sure don't get bored (as well as John Q Public) because those people are spending large $.

I agree that it is likely quite a small percentage of us that are into 'interesting variants'. Of which i would believe that most of the small minority is active on the forums. I'm relatively young to this crowd, this'll be year 5 for me for both Gencon and TD. I did my first variant last year and had a blast (Green with envy). Since I only do a few runs due to likely volunteer commitments I keep an eye out for different/interesting one-offs.

So how much does Lotus need to drink in order for him to think he is an Elf Wizard? Inquiring minds want to know.

You are assuming that he has ever sobered up. I hear he has been on a non stop bender ever since being revived.
