I wonder if it has anything to do with moving to LOS ?

Semi unrelated. My wife was just picking up a badge for a friend, anyone know if the event tax was there last year or if thats new too?

It was there last year and the year before. But I don't think the year before that....I know it changed in the middle of buying badge season which ever year it was.

No one likes a price increase but I decided to do a quick comparison. I just looked up some other events people like and got:

  • Golf - 18 Holes (Mon-Fri) - $52.00
  • Golf - 18 Holes (Sat-Sun/Holidays) - $62.00
  • Local Concert (artist withheld so as not to embarrass the author) - $57.00
I could go on, but for a few hours of live entertainment TD is competitively priced.

Isn't 18 holes of golf 3 to 4 hours of play?
A musical concert is about 3 hours give or take.

Not saying it is or is not worth it. I guess I am when I buy 40+ tickets each year. Just I was a bit surprised by the jump and lack of notification because I think we have been told in the past. We have new cons to play TD at so maybe it is time to trim my ticket purchases down.
