Wow - can someone explain what was going on with that amount of scroll consumption?

Were a bunch of scrolls destroyed to no effect?

Even with Lenses of Sage Speed that's 40 rounds of combat worth of scrolls.

Were both WIzards and the Bard using these?

I had a blast on my first Grind with Master Ed Saturday morning and loved watching the first EPIC run that night! You did an amazing job Eric and I had way more fun than I thought I would!

Thats a pretty impressive survival rate.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

You'll have to ask Kevin (Lodestone) about this. But he was pretty much burning a scroll every turn.

Cool - how many rounds do you guess Grind is?

I would have estimated 2 minutes per round minimum - but maybe things move faster than they do in True Dungeon?

I'm pretty sure he was using two scrolls per round.

Grind can be faster than normal TD. For this run there were 2 DMs, 1 per combat board, and the group was divided into 2 groups of 5 each. Cleric, Druid and Bard were using the new Cloak of Blending (I think), which made sliding pretty quick.
