I know the DMs routinely count the sliders before they push the table out of the room. They can't always remember to do that, so how about an area on each board 14? circles, one for each slider. They don't have to be labeled by class, but players could be encouraged to fill in the blanks....maybe for a 1 pt heal, lol.

DMs try, but it is not unusual for them to be trying to get the party out the door and the room reset at the last second. I don't think we need to change the boards for what is an irritating but rare problem.

Players should be able to show any token they are using at all times.

It is true that in Magic the Gathering tournaments card sleeves are permitted to protect the players' cards from casual handling. However, in all official tournaments, your opponent has the right to force you to de-sleeve. It is a dick move but it is his right. (If your cards can be told apart after de-sleeving, your deck is illegal.) If you want to play with a Lotus Blossom or a Ruby Mox, you will have to risk getting it dirty.

Also in casual play, it is polite to ask your opponent if he minds if you use proxies, and show him your proxies. If your opponent objects, you either don't use them or don't play.

The desleeve rule was changed, your opponent can no longer force you to desleeve. WoTC had many complaints and only the judge can ask you to desleeve. The rule changed in 2003. I had an opponent ask me to desleeve at a recent GP. I called the judge the level 3 judge clarified that the rule changed years ago. Your opponent can no longer force you to desleeve. I did get a deck check and of course I asked for my opponent to get deck checked too. He go a match loss for marked sleeves. LOL
