TOPIC: Raven's Post-Con Thread

Raven's Post-Con Thread 7 years 8 months ago #13

If we are able to do the meta puzzle in future years I will definitely be someone who joins in on this fun as I liked finding the clues for this years.

I had a blast running with you Thursday morning and would love to run with you and everyone again. Hawk was so entertaining and the puzzles were fun to solve with you.

The Epic grind was amazing. I had such a blast and the little story made me fall in love with grind and I plan on doing it at least once every year. The killing of my party members was a blast while also killing the monsters. Playing 2 wizards was a lot of fun and I would love to have the chance to do that again even though I know it is highly unlikely. Watching a wish ring get used was awesome!

This year had a lot of good for myself (and michael) and we look forward to next year and gamehole con and wyc. I am beyond excited for this story and so happy we decided to continue with this even when we thought wewouldnt.

It was an honor to run with you and meet you finally after reading so much about your adventures. I also loved helping you kill my party, I shall never forget that run and it was such a blast. You and Eric and Kirk did an amazing job DMing so thank you for all the hard work you did for that amazing Epic Grind!

Thank you for making my year so special and for the extra cursed treasure ♡

I play bard or wizard and usually have a druid with me! :)

I was feeling pretty good at that point. Eric kept throwing cold damage at us, but my SRoEC and Icecrag Hero Earcuff resulted in a whole lot of "that's not touching me." That and my High AC had me in pretty good shape. I'd been kicking myself earlier for not remembering to bring an eldritch runestone for the 20 hp bonus. But it wasn't looking like it would matter.

But even a nearly full complement of 71 HP was no match for a wish ring and a party member who held a grudge over some pretty serious damage inflicted while I was mind controlled.

Now now, you "gave" your life for a noble cause ;) and I admit having been killed 7 times (8 if you count gunning down my own mind swapped body) might make extra sacrifices some what easy to select and the late Sherrifus Bartius was a little testy at that time. But hey you could have raised the Elf wizard and thrown her in front of my picks (she killed me 4 times, the hungry dwarf fighter twice, you once and strangely no monsters ever killed me)

That Run was FUN!!! :woohoo: :)

Yes, it was.

Had my son not foolishly chosen a good nights sleep over Grind, a certain traitorous party member might not have been present. For sure he would not have turned coat on us. Its quite the long walk to Wisconsin. :P
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir
