TOPIC: True Grind Is Looking for a Part-Time Player Coach

This year, True Grind is trying to offer additional Grind slots at GenCon to satisfy all of you bloodthirsty players intent on harming my poor little critters!

In order to handle the additional slots, we are looking to expand by adding an additional part-time player coach.

The volunteer schedule that we are looking to fill would be:

[THURSDAY]

10 AM - 5 PM

[FRIDAY]

11 AM - 3 PM

[SATURDAY]

4 PM - 7 PM

I want to also point out that this is a 30-minutes on, 30-minutes off volunteer position during your shifts. This means you have time between coaching sessions to relax, hang out in the TD area, or watch the combat. If interested in learning how to be a combat DM let us know as those breaks could be a good time to learn and even get some experience.

Would be tempted to apply if I was planning on attending GenCon.

No luck in finding a room to share and want to avoid being too far away.

True in theory. In the interest of full disclosure, players can arrive an hour ahead of time, so sometimes you'll want to get a jump on the party card, especially if they show up without a character sheet. Yes, there are still a few of those folks out there.

But players are used to only 30 minutes of coaching. Nobody will be annoyed if you take a break during the first half of that hour, if you're prepared to hustle in the second half.

I was able to find a person with a room and available bed.

I will be attending GenCon this year.
