Good Evening Everyone!

Based on some of the responses I got to my previous question about "Why would folks do the same run twice at the same convention", some replies mentioned FOR THE TREASURE! This got me thinking, paying around $75 bucks to get 3 treasure coins is crazy (averaging 25 bucks each) and then I realized: Treasure Enhancers.

Obviously that lead me down the path of "I should pick up this new 2019 purple coin which gives me +2 treasure draws", so I could end up with 5 draws (Average reduced to around $15 bucks a draw)

BUT WAIT! You can equip more than one TE??. So I saw on the Transmute Token page, there is something called a Charm of Avarice which according to the site: "thus gaining between 11 and 13 extra chips" (Now you're talking! That reduces the average draw price to under 5 bucks a pull)

So the question:

In a perfect world where a collector owned 1 of every possible token, what is the best possible setup, specifically for Treasure Enhancing Coins?

I ask because some of the coins say if you equip this one, you cant equip that one, etc, so it's not clear to me what the "best" case scenario is.

Thanks in advance

Which yields 21 treasure per run.

You should certainly pick up the ISGN this year.

21?!? That’s amazing

I looked at the text of the CoA just now and in addition to the three coins cited, it also says you can’t equip an Amulet of Treasure Finding. Wouldnt it be better to equip all four instead of the one charm? Or are there just not enough slots for that?

HoP and AoTF occupy the same slot.

It's also worth mentioning the Aotf may be included in the transmute for a future legendary treasure enhancer, though that's all we know about that for the moment.

That “Future” transmute is the sole reason I still have 5 AoTF, that and I equip half our party with AoTF. Five neck slots, one ring, and a charm slot all because the Future might be worth more than the present, and the present isn’t going away.

The TokenDB has some information on these types of tokens:

tokendb.com/Misc/additional-treasure/

Note that charm of avarice grants counts the number of itself or Charm of Good Fortune are equipped in order to grant:
+11 if 1-5 are equipped in the party
+12 if 6-9 are equipped
+13 of 10 are equipped

So to get the full benefit you need everyone to have either a Charm of Avarice or a Charm of Good Fortune.

If you wanted to theorycraft and get even more silly, you could equip a Wish Ring and use its wish for either:

1. Equip 2 neck slot items and equip: Amulet of Treasure Finding, Horn of Plenty, Ring of Riches, Charm of Good Fortune, Ioun Stone Silver Nugget & Gold Nugget, be a 6th level player for +22 treasure.

2. Just use the wish for 25 treasure pulls + all the other enhancers for +43 treasure

Also, different runs cost different amounts - at Pax South tickets are $58 each, for instance.

So, to get the absolute max treasure, i think this is how it goes:
First, be lazlo so you can use his artifact.
Base 3 chips.
6th level player for +1.
Artifact gives +10.
Use wish ring for +25.
Equip: charm of good fortune, ring of riches, both ioun stones, horn of plenty, and (because artifact double equip ability) amulet of treasure finding.
Equip everyone else with charm of good fortune or avarice.
Also, have me with golden apple of eris in your party AND have amulet of wonder ability add treasure.
Lastly, have the person cursed to give away 1 treasure in the party and they give it to you.
this is not a signature.

Is she still cursed? i thought it was only 1 season or she was able to do something to remove it, but i could be very mistaken about that.

I think it's stronger than "may". Jeff stated pretty definitively that it would be, when he listed the future schedule for TE tokens, out to 2026. That's why I'm holding on to AoTF tokens as well.

So, to assure max treasure in 2026, you might want to pick up an AoTF. It's unknown if there will be an alternate recipe that doesn't require the AoTF.
