TOPIC: Mail in transmute

Mail in transmute 4 years 11 months ago #1

I filled everything out for a mail in order and clicked on the proper mailing address and everything but now when I go to print out my sheet it has my name with a completely different mailing address. Can I just change the mailing address on the form or do I have to redo it? I ask since I already paid

Also do I have to package each trade good in a separate bag? Or can I put 20 mystic silk in the same bag? And if they all have to be individual what happens if I don’t have a way to make a proper unit of 25?

Thanks

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send more than one of the same type of transmute in the same bag?

Example: Enough tokens to make 3 of the trade tokens for Dwarven Steel in one bag? Or do I need to break them down into 3 bags?

Answer: Please place them in seperate bags--so you would need 3 different ziplock bags. The snack-size ziplock bags work great for this kind of need. We ask you to do it this way to make the fulfillment process much more error-free.

Can I send in for more than one Transmuted Token in one shipment to TD?

Example 1: From above, if they have to be seperate bags, can I stick many ziplock bags into one box?
Example 2: I have one of every type of Trade Token, each in their own bag, can I stick that in one box?

Answer: Yes. You can put any number of different kinds of ziplock bags in any Small Flat Rate box. Just be sure the appropriate printed-out label is placed inside each bag.

Let's say I have the following to trade in for several Philosopher's Stones:

12 Rare Rings, etc (12 X 6 pts = 72pts)
1 Uncommon Ring (3pts)
Total 75 points for 3 Philosopher's Stones

How should these tokens be bagged as it's not an easy division of tokens for each into 25 pts?

Answer: Please try to avoid this situation if possible. If you cannot, in the above example please place 24 pts of tokens seperately in 3 bags, and then place the left-over 3 pt token in a seperate non-labeled bag. Then, take all four bags and place them together in a larger ziplock bag. This is how we will know that this special case has occurred.

TD will have to answer about the address. But in addition to Jedi's post, see this post from Druegar about large quantities:

Thank you for the links on how to send it and I figured out the problem was PayPal putting in a random address. So now I have the fun of monitoring my account to figure out how my address got changed to some place in California

If you mean 20 points worth of tokens to be converted into Mystic Silk, the answer is no. You will need to wait until you acquire 25 points worth of MS-eligible tokens before submitting them. If that's not what you were asking, please elaborate.

It's fine to put 25 of the same rarity & trade category of tokens in the same bag, if and ONLY if, you very clearly label that bag with what it contains and what it's being exchanged for. For example, you could put 25 rare cloth items in a bag if you labeled it "6x Mystic Silk (25 rares)" or 25 uncommon charms & dusts if you labeled it "3x Darkwood Plank (25 uncommons)". Do not do this if you have mixed rarities in the bag or with any quantity of tokens other than 25. Anything other than exactly 25 of the same trade type and rarity need to be bagged separately. Some folks have been putting in 24 UCs and three Cs in a bag--this is not kosher.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

You definitely don't need to pay twice. For this completed transaction, write your correct address on the order form you submit with your tokens. Do I need to mention you need to write clearly? Good, I didn't think so. ;)

To fix this for future transactions, please update your address both in PayPal and in our system. For the deets on PayPal, ask PayPal. To change your address in our system:
  1. Click "My Account"
You'll be prompted to log in if you're not already logged in.
  2. Under the Store section, click "Manage Addresses"
  3. You can create a new address, edit an existing address, or delete an address
