TOPIC: True Dungeon History - Original Sliders

True Dungeon History - Original Sliders 2 years 10 months ago #1

In the early days of True Dungeon, 2003 and 2004, weapon and armor tokens were very different. Tokens were only sold, there were no bags of token given to each player. There were no common or uncommon weapons and armor tokens. The few weapons and armor that existed were rare tokens. All the weapons were +1 and there were no damage wheels on the tokens.

The sliders were very different also. There was no place to put a token. The sliders had the numbers built in. There were 4 types of sliders (d4, d6, d8, d10) and you picked your slider(s) based on your class.

Below are photos of the original sliders. Over in Token - Auction forum this set of 4 sliders is being auctioned.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
