TOPIC: Token capsule storage

Token capsule storage 1 year 8 months ago #1

Hoping the collectors' hivemind has some ideas here...

I purchased Lighthouse OPTIMA Classic binders (8" x 10", 4-ring) to store builds for myself and my wife. We also have a few tokens in capsules, so I bought a couple of token capsule pages from Trent. However, those pages are GRANDE / ENCAP format (9" x 12") and don't fit in the OPTIMA binder.

I'm wondering if anyone has used any of the other OPTIMA pages for storing capsules? (In particular, I'm looking at the 2" x 2" OPTIMA coin holder sheets ) Or perhaps someone has come up with some clever way to mod the ENCAP sheets to fit in an OPTIMA binder?

Worst case scenario, I can take the tokens out of the capsules and put them in my existing 42mm OPTIMA pages. I'd really feel more comfortable keeping the capsules though, especially for CoAs/Skulls...

For capsuled tokens in my optima binder I use the sheets that hold 6 coins. They work well.

I haven't tried the 2x2 ones.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Hi Andrew!

If you bought something from my site that doesn't work for you I can give you a refund and you can keep the item for free. I wouldn't want you or anyone else to be dissatisfied with something purchased from my site.

For you or anyone else interested, for the tokens that you want to put in capsules, here's what's available on my site (can click links below).

TD tokens go into Token Capsules which go into Token Capsule Pages which go into Token Capsule Binders

I also did a demo of these items which you can see below. If anyone has any questions, please let me know.

:)

Jumping on this bandwagon:

Is there anything that will fit in the DANSCO binders that holds more than 9 tokens per page? Perhaps a product similar to the capsule pages?

I also wouldn't mind getting my hands on about 8 of the DANSCO pages so I can build a second (thicker) book. I can't upgrade to a larger binder because I use a custom sized hand-made messenger bag to carry my tokens.

Side note, I've been looking for a zipper binder with a strap that can hold at least 6 capsule pages if anyone has recommendations!

Thanks for the tip @Reap! I'll pick up a set of those. The 2x2 ones seem like they'd be about 1mm too narrow.

I appreciate the offer @Trent! I'll contact you separately.

This is what i'm using, i'd love to find a sturdier version of it but it did hold up through GHC pretty well (only con i've used it at).

I need a softer/more padded strap for the shoulder. I put it in my con bag during the day and take it out and carry it through the dungeon during actual runs.

We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
