So, in a sense, their damage was never applied to the monster. By applying all damage at the same time, those last few classes now get to count that damage. it is completely unfair.

Ahh I understand now. But seriously, can we find a way to calculate how much damage bardsong is adding in a round and have that just show up as damage for the Bard in VTD instead? I mean, I'm sure I get way more killing blows than anyone else and I NEED IT TO COUNT!

I’ve seriously been asking for a + sign or music note or something to indicate a hit landed due to bardsong (or prayer or bless) since the dice roller launched. The better DMs in real life shout out “hit due to the Bard” and it’s awesome :)

I try and do this when I DM in the physical dungeon. Gotta try to make all of the players feel like they are contributing :)

Snip to avoid quote-ception.

It's very much appreciated when DMs do this in the physical dungeon! Makes that orange lute feel worthwhile :)

*snip*

(this is the sound of a recently-trained VTD DM borrowing a good idea)

Rename Wizards to Arcane Magic Users, and Rogues to Astute Stealers, and their damage will count every round.

New Sub-Classes confirmed!

Cleric has lenses of divine sight and has more healing than wizard can take.
Rest of party is full health BUT the Elf Wizard is also using mad evoker charm. So, cleric wants to give rest of healing to the elf wizard AFTER damage.

Can healing break the laws of timespace and heal both wizards?

Why doesn't the Elf Wizard just cast their spell, and then the cleric can heal them both without breaking any laws of time and space, and then the Wizard can cast their spell.

As I read it, the party is free to sequence their actions however they want.

I still understand your question, but I'm having a hard time think of a scenario that can't be resolved by the party sequencing their own actions (I guess you could say in this instance that the Elf Wizard wants to decide what spell to cast based on the outcome of the Wizards slide or something).
