TOPIC: Treasure Pulls

Treasure Pulls 1 year 4 months ago #1

Ok so I'm curious after reading some comments in the forums I have 3 runs this year and 3 one boot willys maps. Should I use one per adventure or is the 20th anniversary run going to be that good that I should stack all 3 for that 1 run?

From what I've read, the 20th anniversary will have older tokens, but won't necessarily be "juiced," so it would depend on whether you want older tokens in your pulls or not.

I assumed that One Boot Billy Maps would result in a shrink-wrapped stack of 20 tokens, so it wouldn't matter which event you turned them in at. Will there be different 20-packs for the different events?

It is my understanding that the treasure mix for 2023 is the same for all events. The older tokens are in this mix and it will be used for 2023 treasure pulls. The older tokens are due to 20th Anniversary this year.

Do we know if One Boot Billy Maps can be pulled in epilogue? Or should we plan to use them at the store out front?

Addressing this to everyone, not just BeLinda:
Whether One-Boot Billy's Maps are officially approved for use in epilogue or not, please be mindful of your fellow players. The volunteers running the epilogue stations have 10 people they need to process and less then 12 minutes to get all of them handled. Before asking to redeem OBBMs, extra Treasure Chips, or anything that might take more of the vol's attention, check the time. If it's approaching :00, :12, :24, :36, or :48, perhaps consider filling your coffer elsewhere.

Where else might we fill the coffers if it is approaching those times?

The TD store by check-in was my plan. There’s usually a booth where you can buy tokens and redeem treasure draws.

Does that method contain the same options as the treasure boxes?

Will there be a box out front as in prior years?

I could be wrong, but I swear I read somewhere that Jeff mentioned this years treasure boxes have a higher than normal mix of better treasure, not just the old Tokens. And that next year the mix would go back to what it previously had been.
