TOPIC: Completion token question

What were the completion tokens for Gen Con? All my tokens got dumped in a plastic bag for the trip home. I looked on the OTDB, but could only filter by year and completion status, not by event. Don't want to mulch these by mistake!

Here is your quest:

1. Go to Upcoming Events
2. Click the Gen Con link in the nav panel
3. Scroll ALL the way to the bottom, then up very slightly
4. The completion token for each dungeon is below the logo for that dungeon.

Completion tokens also have the little dots around the trade token type.

Piggybacking off this post, it looks like there are more participation tokens remaining then events posted. What happens if we don't get to all of the participation trophies listed in the 2023 "went to printer" post? Do they carry over to the next year?

I have my eyes on the Goggles of Anticipation and was hoping that comes up in one of the upcoming VTD events.

Maybe we'll get them from Grunnel's Holiday Special! That event page doesn't have a token listed yet.

Are the Gen Con completion tokens needed for a transmute? IIRC, the VTD completion tokens can be used for one next year... ?

I was today years old when I learned that!

The little dots on either side of the trade token abbreviation also appear on treasure-box only items like greaves. The dots are meant to convey the token is “special” in some way. (Please note that the dots were implemented relatively recently—2019, I think. The 2017 greaves have neither the MS nor dots, 2018 has MS, 2019 and forward have MS and dots.)

Is it possible to attach which con or adventure each completion bit came out in tokendb? I know it is available through trenttokens as an alternative.

You meant www.truedungeontokens.com but that's OK..hehe.

You can see which Adventure Module and also which Initial Convention the token appeared in.
