TOPIC: Volunteering, badge, etc.

I submitted an application to volunteer at Gamehole (first time volunteering), and I haven't heard anything back (understandable with GenCon just finishing). I'm wondering if I should buy my badge so I can register for events tomorrow, but if selected for volunteering, I receive a badge.... Anyone know anything? Thought I would check here first before sending an email up the chain.

I've been in touch with Lori via e-mail. Her response is:


Because of family obligations and just coming off Gen Con week, I don’t see a realistic way that I can get GHC Vols their badges by tomorrow. We have the funeral tomorrow and then the family is all coming to our home for luncheon after.

I think due to the situation, anyone that wants to register before they have a TD schedule should go ahead and purchase it.

So I would suggest buying a badge now and then get it refunded later.

I would just buy your badge, I get part of my badge back comped because I get a VIG every year and it isn't that hard for the guys to adjust it in the system.
