Didn't want to bog the main sign-up thread with our planning so I started this one. The consensus so far is NIGHTMARE. Fred K is generously donating 10 Charms of Transmorph so please accommodate that in your build. Can't wait to to conquer this dungeon for the first time with you all!

Thank you for starting a thread for the group!

I would recommend we play at Nightmare level or Epic level. Because it is likely we'll have a newer player for at least one slot, I'd recommend Nightmare. I can equip someone for NM for most classes.

Orion and I would prefer to play Druid and Wizard/Elf Wizard but are flexible as well. We are geared out for NM/Epic.

Anyone playing Rogue, I can help outfit you if you are missing anything (Legendary necklace, +3 viper strike fang (can't convince myself to give up the Viper belt to do that transmute), edkar's, Libram, crowbar, etc.)).
I can also help with other classes as well, to an extent. I don't have a ton of extras for spell-casters when I am playing an arcane caster besides divine items (shield of the scholar, +3 rod of focus, etc.). Melee, I have available a +3 deathcleaver, etc.. I'm happy to help :)

I agree with Nightmare as it could easily be two newer players with the charity auction and the pending GT slot. However, I'm super excited about this group! My preference and best outfit of tokens is for Cleric. I'm revising a few things but will post my build soon.

Good stuff, Fred. I think Nightmare is the play for the reasons you and Edwin discussed above. Slotted you guys for Druid and Wizard/Elf Wizard. Let me know on the CoAS and the CoA for you two.

I know Jackoftradze is more than maxed-out as Rogue with gear and both the Legendary Fang and Thor's.

Aside from the Legendary Redoubt armor pieces and BotFW, I'm maxed-out as Fighter.

I'll let PalaDan chime-in himself as I know he's been piping his Paladin the last few months.

I think your Deathcleaver might be fun if one of the charity slots is a new player who would like to try their hand at Barbarian.

Looks like we've got a great group! Can't wait for this run!

FYI - as part of the Charity element to this (I hope to have everything arranged to do the charity auction soon for the American Stroke Society for that token), I'll be putting in 10 charms of transmorph for the group for the run.

Are the effects good enough to give up a charm slot? Last I heard they were neat, but nothing worth giving up a normal charm slot for.

I’m not certain you actually have to give up a charm slot, just turn the 10 tokens in. I’m not sure how it works.

Even though it’s turned in, it still occupies one of your charm slots.

To utilize this charm’s power, all 10 members of your party must turn in one of these tokens. Each token turned in must be unique. I.e., the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Charm of Transmorph must all be turned in.

If your question was who must literally perform the act of physically handing the tokens to the coach, it doesn't matter if one person hands all 10 in, if one person hands in 9 and another hands in 1, if one person hands in 8 and another hands in 2 or two others hand in 1 each, if one person hands in 7 and another person hands in 3 or another person hands in 2 and a third person hands in 1 or three other people hand in 1 each, or I think you get the idea. What matters is that all 10 get turned in and all 10 party members are down one charm slot.
Have you looked it up in the TDb?
