TOPIC: E3 - Infernal Redoubt Friday 10:02a (Patron slot) LFO - NM/Epic 2 slots left!

Hi all,

I have all 10 tickets for this run (Patron pre-sale run). I couldn't make slots available until now. We have 3 players and are looking to add others.

We can run at Epic level but also thought about doing a themed run. Possibly something like a greedy 10 token run on Nightmare (10 tokens plus TEs). We're definitely looking for this to be a run with veterans rather than newer players as we're following it with a sealed pack run with mostly new players after this run.

For classes, we have:

Trent - Barbarian
Erin - Dwarven Fighter
Orion - Druid
Ross Reed - Ranger
Fred - Whatever's needed (Wizard, Bard, Paladin preferences)
MasterEd - Monk
MasterEd+1 - Cleric
Lordoftherealm - Rogue

*Also - I corrected the time, I've been told both 10:03a and 10:02a but Andrew says 10:02a - it's his thread we're are graciously using so his time is now the official one!

I definitely need to work on my attention to detail. Yes, it's 10:03am (I was lucky enough to win buying a slot early in the Patron lottery).

One note for everyone joining this run - because it was a patron run, we weren't given E-Tickets - TD is handling these differently so I'll be waiting up front for everyone to show up (unless I can work something else out for people headed to the training room).

I know you're looking for veteran players, but are you open to newbies? My friend and I both love d&d, but we've not done TD before

Julia - I have extra tickets left for Odin's Redux at 12:15p that same Friday if you'd be interested. That one is a great introduction to True Dungeon. Might make sense to start there - with the crazyness that tends to occur in more difficult veteran runs, it doesn't make for the best introduction to the game (especially since the players use 5th level characters rather than 4th level characters and are leveraging quite a few tokens that allow for alternate rules, etc.).

The Odin's Redux adventure is designed to introduce people to True Dungeon. I try to do at least one of the introduction adventures each year with mostly new players just to teach the game. If you can't make it to that one - you'll find other slots of that adventure popping up. Alternately, you could look for tickets for any of the E series (1-3) being run at normal difficulty level - that way you can get the basics down before seeing a run where exceptions are the norm.
