TOPIC: E2 Saturday 2:36 LFO

E2 Saturday 2:36 LFO 4 years 11 months ago #1

We have six tickets for this run and would love to find the other adventurers. We are willing to be flexible with classes and difficulty (have gear suitable for hardcore and nightmare for most classes, but also enjoy sealed and novelty runs), with a preference for:

1. Joey O’C: dwarf fighter
2. Wife of Joey O’C: cleric?
3. Boilerplate: wizard
4. Son of Boilerplate: rogue
5. Friend: paladin
6. Friend: monk

EDITED TO ADD PARTY MEMBERS:
7. Chad: ranger
8. Wife of Chad: cleric?
9. Friend of Chad: human fighter
10. Friend of Chad: barbarian

Looking forward to this!

Let the adventuring commence! I am really excited to see the son of boilerplate in action after he has a few runs under his belt. I am curious to find out which of the runs is his favorite.

New dungeon with friends is going to be great.

Oddly enough, I am in this one with you guys also. Again, Ranger for me. For this adventure, however, I'll be bringing my wife and two friends. The friends typically play Fighter/Paladin types while the wife has only played Cleric. Looking forward to the fun.

Welcome to the party, Chad! So glad you posted. (And welcome to the forums, by the way!)

It sounds like you’ve played before. What difficulty do you and your crew like to run? Our primary goal is maximum fun for all, so we can be very flexible.

Looking forward to spending quality dungeon time with you for this and the Friday run too!

Sweet! Another run with Chad, this time with even more friends. This means we have the full run with all 10 people known right? This should be great.

I too am curious as to what difficulty you like to run.

Most of the time we have done TD runs in the past, we were grouped with newcomers and stuck with normal. We don't have great equipment, but I think we can do something a little tougher if you guys want.

Sweet. Let’s conspire together on the Friday run to plan out what would be most fun for the Saturday run with your wife and friend. We never want to be pushy about offering to lend gear, but consider this a standing offer to lend gear... If your crew is interested in borrowing, I am pretty confident we’ve got enough gear for the whole party to easily do hardcore. The easiest tokens to lend are the charms of synergy - we’ve got 10 of those and, as the party wizard, I love me some extra HP, so hopefully the whole gang will be willing to equip for maximum benefit. We also have assorted level enhancers, so we might be able to get the whole party (or pretty darn close) access to 5th level cards. Which is extra fun.

We don’t have a ranger with us, so that class is all yours as far as I’m concerned. Our dwarf fighter and paladin are pretty solid (the dwarf pretty much never misses and the paladin pretty much can’t be hit and guards two players), so would your friend have any interest in human fighter or barbarian? Our cleric (Joey’s wife) is a healing machine (plus 14 healing bonus), but if your wife has her heart set on cleric, I am sure we can figure something out.

Unless my math is off (entirely possible), I think there is one more unidentified adventurer with a ticket for this run. Who knows what his or her preferences might be! Hopefully he or she visits the forums and finds this thread.

I'm bringing my wife plus two friends, so that should fill out the rest of the group. My wife has played a few times and has only played cleric, but she doesn't have a strong preference. The other two friends would be fine with fighter and barbarian. They are all pretty laid back and will go with the flow.
If you have extra gear you don't mind lending, we will wear whatever for the benefit of the party.

Hey guys. I think that Boilerplate and I have all of the charms of synergy for the party and I think between the two of us we can get everyone to 5th level player cards.

Boilerplate and I have a ton of very solid builds (Hardcore bordering on Nightmare) if you are interested in borrowing tokens. The only class that isn't complete is the Monk. If you would like to see what the current builds are for the classes you might consider playing just let us know and we can post them here. We don't really have any spare TE's (Treasure Enhancers) though I'm sorry.

I think it is also worth noting that you never have to play any difficulty you don't want to play. Please don't feel any pressure to play on a harder difficulty.

Talked to the wife about class options and she reminded me that she has played Bard before. So I would say she would lean in that direction.

I have a level enhancer on my ranger build, so if you guys have three extras, we should be good for 5th lvl.

I'll start putting together the extra equipment I have for fighter/barbarian/bard builds and see what I come up with.
