The sets thread and tokendb both say yes.

thanks for the thread ID !

I always lose it, but if you google "true dungeon sets" it's the top link (and we should eventually have a truedungeon.com/sets URL, if the sample text on tokens is accurate).

Will there be a permanent tier 8 power? I know there is the event listed, but would be nice if there was another power we could use in each run after the event has ended.

You do get some added eldritch set benefits going with the transmuted skull. And of course you'll want it to participate in the upcoming event. But afterwards, it does feel somewhat like a tossup.

That is my concern. Once the special event is over, if you don't care about the subclass, it's actually better in some situations to keep the 7 teeth untransmuted and use them along with Semi-Lich Skull for the +7 HP. That's not good. It should feel exciting to transmute, not feel like you had to give something up to do so.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

What if the SoC also gave you the 7 hp?

Wow, thank you so much for including the subclasses! This is great news for anyone who doesn't have RoSP and is collecting teeth, and it'll be great to come across people playing subclasses more often during pickup group runs.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Psychic tier 8 after the event? +7 hp?

I have only played one ROSP class the templar thanks to Mongo for letting me use one of his cards that year, it was a ton of fun, looking forward to being able to get one of my own each year. Maybe if I do really well next year try to find someone willing to part with their ROSP.

Then I would be 100% satisfied (a very rare occurrence). Even with the rod, you didn't get much beyond the individual segment bonuses, but you never felt like you were giving up anything. As it stands, after the event, Wizards, Cleric and Druid have to decide if they want the 7HP or the +1 damage/+2 heal. All other classes should want the 7hp.

As someone who opted most years to buy the adventurer's guild level of tokens, I have two sets of teeth. I thought about transmuting both sets and having one for a friend. Now I'm stuck probably transmuting one and keeping the other individual teeth.

For what it’s worth, I am mildly bummed at giving up the extra max HP. If there were to be a decision to grant some extra max HP (even, say, +5 instead of +7) with equipping the Skull of Cavadar, I’d be delighted.

My husband and are both currently using Semi-Lich Skulls to imbue psychic power and are enjoying the extra +6 max HP. We have a handful of extra Teeth in our guild. For ourselves, we plan to make the Skull of Cavadar for the Eldritch Set bonus and to imbue psychic with the full range of powers. (We don’t have the Rod or Ring, so this only gets us the 3-piece set bonus.) We’ll lend out the Semi-Lich Skulls and any extra Teeth to guild members so they can get an HP boost and perhaps a useful psychic power. The free 4-point heal is frequently useful, at least.

Jeff, fantastic solution, you knocked it out of the park! I'm glad it gives Psychic ability and won't require a separate token to active it.

Granting access to the Sub-Classes is perfect, I'm happy more people will get to experience them.

I'm looking forward to the Special Event in 2022 (or whenever it happens).

I think you made the right call in not letting people access both the Skull and individual Teeth, to be consistent with the Rod of 7 Parts.

Is there a permanent Tier 8 ability, or is just the access to the special event? It would be neat to have some kind of permanent Tier 8 Psychic Ability as well, for use past 2022. I don't think that would be broken since you can still only use one ability per Dungeon. If there isn't, I think someone getting one of these after 2022 might see the Tier 8 and get excited and them be a bit downfallen when they realize that was just the Special event which they missed.

I hope that you don't require a Golden Fleece in the recipe. Not just because the Rod didn't have it, or that 7 URs plus the other Trade Item tokens should be enough, but also because I don't think there's a glut of monster tokens anymore. I recently posted looking to buy extra monster bits, and nobody replied with any for sale.

Out of curiosity, was the Rod of Seven Parts ever in the treasure box? Because thats my only way to get this. If I could tell myself 4 years ago to pick up the teeth, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Hoping for that 1 in 1,000,000 pull if one finds its way in there.
