For the shield phobic, there are still tactical options:
Orb of might. Give up the Reflex save bonus, gain +1 hit and damage.
Brawlers mug. +2 damage, give up reflex bonus
Brawlers Horn. +2 to hit, give up reflex bonus.
Tankard of health. Really bad choice, but a choice
Some other choices:
Gauntlets of Weapon finesse vs Mithral Gauntlets or the new Gloves of Dire Bear. To hit vs damage?
Charm of Bonding. Carry only 1 melee weapon. Pray nothing forces you to drop it. Or worse yet - Rust Monster. Nice for Thors. If you have Charm space. I’m assuming you can’t cheese that with Thor’s. That would be some really ripe cheese. Someone moved the cheese.
