Well, there is a rather large balance problem with them. They encourage all melee skew builds, which is not a desirable outcome for overall balance. Damage bands get a lot closer together when martial classes have to account for making melee and ranged attacks, as opposed to going all in on melee and drinking a potion to resolve the most common reason to use ranged attacks.

I do not understand the hate for reprinting the Potion of Leaping Attack.

1) Did I miss a memo about requiring builds to be balanced between melee and ranged? 🤔 If so, that should apply to ALL classes, right? Break out your clubs Wizards!

2) -100 for making this anything more than a RARE token. It's NOT that powerful.

3) At a rare level, this token is not as common as you think it is. Trent and Kirk are both sold out of this token from only 5 years ago. How many other potions from only 5 years ago are sold out?

4) This token has been printed twice already so precident deems it a fair token.

As I said, I stocked-up in 2017. I now only have a handful left so I use them only as a last resort.

It's time for the Potion of Leaping Attack again! (Especially if we're going to be climbing in and out of boats for the forseable future.)

Is it required? No. Is it ideal that people need to adjust their builds to accommodate Ranged and melee modes? Yes. Otherwise you see max melee skew in builds with leaping attack potions as the get out of jail card.

As for wizards, I see nothing wrong With having a non spell backup attack there either. Even as high levels in DnD, I always used a sling for more attacks than spells, and in VTD we’ve had more than one room that completely shuts down spells.

Long story short, creating rooms with flying monsters that should cause melee players to compromise their builds for Ranged attacks (or pray for 20s) is completely undone by leaping attack potions. They should never be reprinted.

I honestly dont see why leaping attack is a problem. It's a fun potion. You dont like what it does to build balance, I get that. Others dont really care about build balance. To each their own.

For my 2 cents I'm in favor.

Maybe there is a reason it is sold out? Just because it is popular, doesn't mean it is good for the game. It gets used a lot and a reprint just means we see more rooms designed to force ranged combat. I would prefer it doesn't get reprinted, but I won't be mad if it does.

I would throw some votes at the following tokens for reprint:

+2 Assasssin's Crossbow
Earcuff of Orbits

Similar to how Boots of Shocking Step mimicked Boots of Inferno Step...

Could we get a token that mimics Bead Cleric's Piety, please.

I read that originally as Druid’s Sadness. A totally different token.
