TOPIC: Thanks TD staff, volunteers, and the rest-and Grunnel!

Thanks TD staff, volunteers, and the rest-and Grunnel! 1 year 4 months ago #1

A great Gen Con in the books (for me, anyway) and I am wiped out. I was able to do all 3 dungeons so the quest fir Level 10 is a bit shorter.

I saw Jeff as I left the TD area and thanked him for taking all my money. He in turn thanked me for giving him money. This community is so great and I am very glad to be a part of it.

See you on zoom for VTD!

This was my 1st year doing TD. We signed up for Darkhold and had a great time. The group was super supportive with helping us build our characters and trading tokens around. Then my gf kept looking for another couple spots to open up and randomly got us into bbt. That group was EVEN BETTER! We weren't 10 people with 1 pack each, we were a party with 10 packs. I don't think I got anything that fit my class at all, but ended up decked out. The staff were all super nice, the community was great, and now we're starting our collection. Thanks everyone for being so open and welcoming! We definitely plan to do as many as we can next year.

Yes, well done - the highlight of the con as always!

Our room 1 DM in Thursday Tomb of Terror 7:25 PM was fantastic especially, as were the room 6 and 7 NPCs in Darkhold Keep for Saturday at 7:36 PM.

After running both Darkhold and Tomb on Hardcore and Barb Bear’s on Normal, my XP now stands at 58,950.

Six more runs, getting to room 7 at Hardore or harder and I will be 10th level! Hoo-ha!

My experience was that things ran extremely smoothly, nearly every puzzle worked great, the effects were spectacular, and the volunteers and staff were outstanding.

Biggest complaint is the lack of seating near check in.

Next is that these 4 days go far too fast.

Thank you to everyone involved in making true dungeon awesome! Thanks to all the DMs, coaches, volunteers, setup/tear down, and NPCs! Special thanks to those who we got into runs with through the forum - we wouldn’t have enjoyed GenCon without these opportunities to run the dungeons with you :)

This community is so great and I am happy to be a part of it! Also, happy 20th, and thanks for the IO’s - luckiest treasure pull ever!

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard and made this TD appearance at Gen Con a success! ToT was a worthy 20th anniversary adventure, it was nice to see Darkhold Keep again, and my group really enjoyed going back to basics in Barb Beard. Great job all around.

I managed all three dungeons all in the same day back to back. I was beat but all of them were great! I especially enjoyed the banshee and pain demon. Looking forward to next year! Thanks to all who helped, you are greatly appreciated!

Am I the only one who is nearing 10th level that felt pre-2020 that it wasn't something that would happen in the next decade? Thank you TD for VTD AND in-person cons!
