TOPIC: Grind was AMAZING!

I'd just like to take a moment to publicly sing the praises of Picc and Raven; the True Grind adventure was a masterpiece of fast-paced combat action, great narrative, fun characters, cool mechanics, and humor. I wish I could have played it more than once, and I hope we get to see lots more True Grind in the years to come!

(Equal public thanks to everybody who had a hand in Crimson Isle, which I also thoroughly enjoyed -- the difference is I have an official survey link to tell TPTB how great Crimson Isle was, but I didn't see anything like that for Grind so a forum post will have to do!)

I was hearing so many amazing things about grind I can’t even express how badly I wish I could have seen it. The stories coming out of it are iiiiincredible. So glad to have it back. ^^

Indeed!! Picc for Grindmaster!! And wouldn’t have been the same without the theatrical flourishes of Raven!!

Was a masterpiece of the highest order and DEFINITELY will be looking forward to more antics in the future.

Agreed! This was the first time doing True Grind, and I wasn't prepared for how awesome it would be. The fact that Raven and Picc could keep the story so engaging without any props or scenery was admirable, but perhaps most amazing was that we ran at the end of the day (7:30 start), and their energy level was still through the roof!! Absolutely stunning performance by two great DMs!

I have been telling anyone who will listen how great True Grind was. It was fantastic to have it back at all, and then Picc and Raven knocked it out of the park.

Grind was incredible. 100% would recommend and do it again.

Agreed! Picc and Raven did an amazing job -- AND they did it over many long hours. Congrats to them on an excellent job! And thanks for every ones patience with the slow return of True Grind. Let's hope it stays around. Time to start sweet-talkin' Picc and Raven!

I'd like to chime in and say that my players and I all REALLY enjoyed True Grind, even though tickets were tough to come by. I hope we see more of this in the future!

Adding thanks to Picc and Raven for an amazing time on our first Grind. The story and variety of combats made for a most memorable and satisfying adventure. Many laughs, cheers, groans, and sighs of relief. And one memorable double 1 Grace save roll. So many great memories! Cheers!

I did Grind twice and I wish I had more Grind runs. I had missed it for the years it was gone and SOOO glad it has returned. Hopefully it will be at all of the major conventions!!!
