TOPIC: Grind was AMAZING!

Grind was amazing! Thank you so much to PICC and Raven for all the hard work that went into preparation and for your stamina keeping up the energy level all weekend.

This was my first Grind experience, and would love to do it again!

Expectation: Barrage of fights to see how far your group can get before they die (or time runs out). Linear path with a "kudos" to those that defeated all the baddies. Focus heavily on knowing your characters and party dynamics to test the limits of the TD combat system. I expected to die and I brought tons of potions to prep for the long haul.

Reality: Soo many choices and very interactive between players and DM's. It felt like a true "choose your adventure" style game. The story was great and flowed seamlessly through the combats and interactions. Fight this, bribe that, betray this, ally with that. Picc and Raven were outstanding DM's for this and allowed for the players to really get into the dungeon and make relevant choices. Picc did an amazing job developing this storyline with many fun easter eggs. After comparing notes it sounded like no two runs were the same based on the many choices and interactions along the way. Only died of my own free will

Would love to see this more in the future!

Loved every minute of it, and definitely hope it stays around! I'm apparently much better at hitting treasure goblins in real life than video games!
