OK, I think our roster is in good shape now with Kaledor as Ranger and BasicBraining as Dwarf Defender. (I haven't used my Skull subclass yet this year, and I don't think I'm likely to want it for any of my other GHC runs)

Got around to my build for this run. I’ll be polymorphing into a fire elemental for additional fire resistance, and using my spell Ironskin for additional 5 DR.

What token would you be using to polymorph into a fire elemental? AFAIK the only way for a Elf to do that would involve Shaman’s Belt, which is of course a nonstarter because Belt of Thorns.

Assuming I haven't missed something, Greaves of Absorption seems like a good swap-in, and you could get two more from Gloves of Flameward if no other good choices (though I hate to give up Master Drinker's Gloves for a grind run, and I'm grappling with this precise dilemma in my own build too).

I would also recommend swapping Mystic Staff of Fire for any other option -- on the off chance that you end up wanting to use a mystic staff, dealing Fire damage isn't going to do much good.

Sorry, meant to say poly morphing into Lemure for +5 fire resist (have a stack of these potions) but wasn’t planning on needing healing potions and drinking them wouldn’t be possible in poly. I’ll look to swap some things for the additional 5 fire DR.

Also my thought was to protect against the superheated detriment by equipping mystic staves. Mystic staff of fire would likely not be effected by the heat, or the mystic staff of frost could produce cold enough to not get burned as well. But not equipping a ranged thing is my alternative.

The party will have at least 10x Auri's Candles and 10x Harlax Lamps, so be sure to include those in your builds. (I suspect we're going to need all the HP we can get.)

1x Safehold IV w/ Underling Cleric
1x Totem of Wonder (can bring some Rings of Wonder if needed)
1x Greater Alchemist Pouch (to store/protect retribution potions)

I might be speaking too soon since you're still working on them, but keep in mind that in order to be a Fire elemental the Druid needs to actually equip the Druid necklace (rather than Amulet of Thorns) -- this is of course permissible if it's the only way to reach 20 Fire DR.
