I have all 10 tickets and am looking for more players; post here with class preferences if you'd like to join! Cost is $76 each; I'll PM payment details once we have critical mass.

This will be an Epic difficulty run, hopefully with Weird variations made up by the DM that aren't officially part of the module! (NB: for the full experience you almost certainly want to do at least one "regular" run prior to this one)

Epic-curious players welcome: if you're not sure your Nightmare build can handle Epic but want to find out, come join us!

• You don't necessarily need legendaries to play Epic; aside from CoA I didn't own any when I started.
• What you do need is enough max HP to not die before I can get around to healing you, and (for sliding classes) enough +hit for monster ACs in the 30-40 range.
• You can generally plan on +4 bardsong and +2 prayer, so e.g. base +18 with +6 buffs will hit AC 40 on a natural 16 slide. Part of playing Epic is that it's okay to miss sometimes!
• High saves (20+) are good too, but another part of playing Epic is that it's okay to fail saves sometimes. And if we die in room 7 but have a lot of fun, that's okay too!

Isabelle and I would love to join you. Iz prefers Dw Fighter and I am flexible. If nobody else claims it, I’ll go Elf Wizard (I love giving boosts to barbs using fury or for big rogue attacks.) With tgst said, I can fill in for any class as needed (and can provide loaners for leg weapons.) I’ll ping Orion to see of he’d like to join in as a druid.

Definitely interested in getting in on this run. I'm new to true dungeon, but will be doing 6 runs at Gen Con and plan to at least one run of this VTD 25 prior to your run. My strongest builds are casters right now, and can provide a build sheet if you would like.
Example, current mage build 71 hp, resists 20-16-18. Bonus spell dmg 20. 1 free 0-1 1st lvl spell per room and 3 free any level spells per game. Also running all the self rez items (Dice,Cloak, & pouch)

Can do other classes as well, that was just a quick example I pulled up. But other casters druid, cleric, or bard are going to be my strongest builds at the moment. Also plan to build out more before September.

Hi Bryan, welcome to this run, and to the forums, and to TD in general!

It sounds like your wizard build is already in pretty decent shape for survivability, which is great. If you're interested in possibly borrowing a couple of tokens to soup it up even more for this run, I've found one easy way to do that is to post a link to your current build in tdcharactercreator.com so we can see it and make relevant/helpful offers... but it's totally up to you; some people prefer to play with just their own tokens and that's 100% ok, no pressure. (and also no hurry, it probably makes sense to wait until after GenCon in any case)

Sounds like fun. I have very little Epic experience, but my Rogue should be up for it. I have an extra COA and an array of lesser treasure items if anyone is in need.

I don't always get a chance to do Epic Weird, so why not take this opportunity? Sign me up as Barbarian.

Put me down as a Druid or Bard; whichever is more helpful for the group.

We definitely want a bard for Epic, so right now that's James, though we can always swap around a little bit if Bryan tries out some classes at GenCon and decides one of the other options is more fun than wizard
