Basically,
It had a velcro flap on the inside as well. So you could close it up around the wing ties. So they just seemed to emerge from your back. Or so that when you weren't wearing wings you couldn't tell there was a slit for wings. :)

Although I'm playing with a different style in my head currently. :)

Another great thing we have in common...YUM
DIET DR PEPPER for breakfast!!!

Every day!! ;)

And yes, I know it's almost 1 pm where I am, but it was still breakfast. I don't usually wake up before 10 am, and frequently not until 11. It depends on how early my Mom calls telling me to get up and get to work. (I work from home for the family business.)

Sooooo, the caffeine didn't get processed thru the system until about Noon.

Yes Dr. Pepper for breakfast, that is what I used to have when I was in high school.
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

Hey Lesimony,

I blogged about my Lady Dazzy costume, you can see it. Do you think bracers would go with that?
And thanks again for the insoles suggestions for my boots. Yay for comfy boots!

*hugs* Thanks bro.

That is the greatest photo of him, drooling down to his kitty knees. heehehhe. *smile* He was a very handsome and photogenic kitty. *little laugh* If only I had a little bit of his photogenic presence. But then again I'm a silly little pixie, we aren't supposed to be seen. ;)

*hugs* Thanks again bro.

Rufus is SOOOO cute! I didn't know about him. I'm so sorry to hear he's gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I lost my 18 1/2 year old cat a year ago this month, so I know how hard it is. You can see her pic here . PM or email me any time if you want to talk about him. *hugs*

I love the costume. The vest is really cool. I think the bracers will look good. I hope to be making them within the next few weeks, and will send you a photo. I also made a "muslin" of them first out of heavy double-layer canvas, that I was planning to send you when I am done with them so you can see if they fit ok.

Thanks, had fun playing in the park(dland) in that with my family. I plan on hopefully soon adding that waist cincher and vest to my site. As well as the waist cincher with a feather peplum. Its on my to-do-list. *little laugh*
Thanks hun, I look forward to seeing pictures! Yay for sewing projects and costume fun! ehheehe

DD,

Sorry to hear about your cat. I have two of my own and know how they can worm themselves into your heart and become like family.

Thanks sweetie. I'm okay, I have lots of good memories and great pictures of my Rufus, like the one in my sig of him drooling down to his kitty knees. You can't see it too well but if you look in my blog you can see it in a larger version. *smile*
Thanks again sweetie, you're a doll. *hugs*

1. So sorry about your gato. I'd be happy to send you one of the 5 we have in our house.

2. I like the costume shown on your blog. That is a GREAT hat!

3. Hugs and salutes to all. It looks like I will be missing SoCal again this year. I would love to see everyone again, but the reason is at least a positive one. (I'll post in the off-topic).

Hope everyone is doing well.

These guys got into latex weapons too (after their foam weapon construction for full combat), like the ones Gary was talking about! Very high detail, and a con fave since they started coming 2 years ago!

Some other good latex outlets.

And the main company I gather is the originator/manufacturer of most the latex weapons on the market:

A full line of costuming... (though DD's are better!)
