Richard Hatch AKA Captain Apollo of the original Battlestar Galactica passed away the other day.

From those who knew him personally, he was considered a truly good man.

In my youth, the show was one of my all time favorites and I was truly saddened when it was canceled.

RIP and happy skies Captain Apollo.

I'm also saddened to see him pass. I did hear that he was a very good person, and he certainly had passion for his Apollo character and Battlestar Galactica. It was one of my favorite shows as well. As much as I liked the Battlestar Galactica reboot, he'll always be "THE" Apollo.

I chatted with him a few times at conventions. He was always incredibly gracious and enthusiastic with his fans. A true mensch!
Have you looked it up in the TDb?

I loved the show and he was a big part of why it was so appealing
