I have a comic book package that shipped from New York on 9 Jan. It arrived here in Bloomington on 13 January and has been in limbo ever since. I'm wondering if it will ever get here or if it has gotten lost.

My V12 treasure could be in St. Louis, Austin, Dallas, or the Feywild for all I know!

Speaking of USPS follies, here's a public service announcement. Pack your transmute orders carefully. For a bigger order use a Medium flat rate box with the tokens inside small flat rate boxes. I didn't do that on my last one and Jeff sent me a picture of my box with a split top seem. Luckily it seems all the tokens stayed in the box. But that was probably pure luck.

Pack carefully especially if you have valuable transmutes (I did). Thanks to Jeff for the care and reminder.

That's a real shame.....How dare someone send in 2007 Tokens to be transmuted!!

Edit:. Looks like 2008 and 2007.

There no claims about the age of the photo.

Grunnel has been posting pictures of recent package disasters on Discord, if you want more contemporary examples. (Use small flat rate boxes inside the bigger boxes and lots of tape, folks.)

Giving full credit to the USPS for the last several shipments being correct, I was finally hit by the StL Vortex, as my loot decided to take a scenic tour of SC before heading to CA.

It is a bummer, because I had plans for all those commons this weekend, giving them away to like minded gamers who may or may not have heard of TD before.

Next year.

I had a situation recently where UPS and USPS teamed up. The package was shipped via UPS, but then UPS handed it off to USPS in my city to deliver it to me. Something went wrong with the handoff though after USPS received the package and it is seemingly permanently lost. Fortunately the seller (a comic book distributor) replaced the comics they could and refunded the rest. It's a shame I wasn't able to get some of the comics, but the company did the best they could to make it right.

I saw Amy Weber (the artist who drew Time Walk among other cards) say that she's had about 17 Time Walk cards lost in the mail - always overseas shipments, and only Time Walks, never less valuable cards. She suspects someone is intentionally intercepting them somehow.
