TOPIC: USPS follies

more than a few packages that i have sent, get returned to me. i remail them and everything goes okay the second time around.

So, my Safehold V Under Construction and Stalker Bead of Skill transmutes went to Pennsylvania from St Louis. A bit too far to the east, as I live in Illinois.

Not quite USPS but sitting in customs for 2 weeks with no updates. Customs sucks

6:10 AM: Out for delivery, eta 5:45-7:00
Updated to 6:30-7:30
6:54 PM: Sorry, we took your package away and left a slip, come pick it up where we could've held it this morning or reschedule a different day for us not to give you your package

I was literally on my computer refreshing my tracking page waiting for it to say DELIVERED so I could walk out and get it. Heard no knock or doorbell, 2 cars in the driveway. No indication on tracking page that a signature would be needed or that the package wouldn't be left.

Yeah, my Holiday VTD run tokens were 'delivered' but did not arrive.

I hope there wasn't anything fun/valuable in there. =(

My CoA transmute better get there unharmed. I taped it up and insured it, but USPS usually finds a way to fuck it up. Fingers crossed.

I’ve never had to act on my insured pkgs but I’ve heard rumors that even with insurance… getting the insured amount is near impossible…. Anyone know if this is true?

So my tokens are taking the scenic route from Illinois to Arizona via Santa Barbara then Santa Clarita. Maybe they’ll visit Monterey or Alaska like last time before and then they’ll make their way back to Arizona.

Sorry to hear… a miracle happened for mine… got here Friday instead of the following Monday/Tuesday

I hope so! This is the 1st time in 2 years of VTD, where I got mine the Friday after a VTD weekend. Normally St. Louis or Knoxville will hold it an extra day and it gets stuck Sat / Sunday. I know Lori and I are still on the lookout for my VTD loot from Novembers VTD. There delivery didn’t match what the digital showed us, then they went back in and “changed” it to delivered the day prior…even though the system said that they didn’t deliver it, they had the package, and would deliver when they could.. ever since then it’s been MIA.

Wow that is crazy
