Rum can be nice. I am oddly partial to Blackguard rum. It's super cheap, and it tastes strongly of cherry for some reason, but it works wonderfully in mixed drinks.

Mmmm... sour wheat juice sounds GOOD!

Yeah, I'm pretty much down to only 1 to 2 drinks per year. But I really did love that Exhausted Parent ice cream at GHC.

I haven't brewed a Berliner Weisse in a while. Though getting ready to bottle a amber sour wheat juice beverage and i did tell you about the cranberry cinnamon sour wheat juice that my local to the brewery friend didn't bother telling me about.....
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Forgot Balies, I have a real weakness for Balies hot chocolate around the holidays.

Sartre sits in in a coffee shop and asks for a coffee without cream. The barista apologizes “Sorry, we don't have any cream. Can I offer you a coffee without milk instead?”

i love a great bourbon now and then. i am not going to debate $$$ to quality... if i don't like the flavor, it doesn't matter. i have had some high value bottles and some less desirable ones. maker's, buffalo trace, are good middle of the road mixers. when you are an hour away from bourbon country. tracking down something new is kind of easier than other parts of the country....and dare i say, i can even get some bootleg bourbon sometimes.

all that said, i echo mike's comment about the chocolate milk. i can down a half gallon the drive between louisville and carbondale and another on the way back.

Viking Blod was my first mead, it was not my last, it may still be the best.

I'm intrigued by this. Do you not grow cucumbers in the US, or is there something more desirable about English ones?

English cucumber is a variety of cucumber. It has fewer seeds and thinner skin, and is generally sweeter with less bitterness than standard cucumbers.

Interesting, thanks. I've just done a quick google of "American Cucumber" and they do look pretty different... I'll have to try one out of curiosity next time I'm over there.

You can buy English ones here. Both Sam’s and Walmart sell them for sure. They’re often wrapped individually. I put them in my backpack at cons for a snack.

Oooooh that makes much more sense. Brain fried. The English ones are better IMO.
