TOPIC: Why I love DisneyLand . .

Why I love DisneyLand . . 17 years 4 months ago #1

Where else in one day could I see a four year olds have a lightsabre fight with Darth Vader and Maul, have a trashcan compliment my shirt, have a pirate try to pickpocket my purse, look at estate jewelry, see Joey Lawerence in a fire truck, walk 14 miles without noticing, and see a window that says 'oriental tattooing' and 'Banjo Lessons'?

This is why I love the park. *Smiles*

One of these days I might actually get to see Disneyland. I've been to Disneyworld, but never Disneyland.

Kim

I've been to D'World, but never to D'Land, even though I now live in SoCal. Sounds like you had alot of fun!

Brian
I love the park, its like a second home. ehehehe.
I worked there for about 4 years and have been an ap for the past 4 years and about a year and a half before I worked there.
If I have my way I go there every friday for walking, its an exercise I can do that doesn't put me in an asthma attack. And its a controlled environment I feel safe to walk in.
Although with the way my health has been this year, I haven't done too many friday walks. This was my first one in about two months. And boy were changes noticable!

It was a very enjoyable day, I got to walk around the parks for a couple hours, then I was joined by a friend and got to go on some rides, in the evening my folks came in and had supper and did some more walking and went on jungle cruise and said hello to CM's we know.

If you like to go more than a couple times a year, a annual pass is a fabulous thing. *smiles* I know its not for everyone. But dland suits me just fine as an escape from the house. Its also a great place for trying out garb to see if I need to make any alterations. Teehee.

That has to be the single best pass advantage...there have been nights where the wife and kids and I went - saw a totally full parking structure, and heard about some crazy function and decided to just walk Downtown Disney instead....

Othertimes we go to the park just for dinner - yes there are some decent resturants inside DL...

The annual pass is a pretty good deal if you go often.

My folks try to go every friday night. They go out, have supper, say hello to some castmembers and walk a few miles. Its an enjoyable evening out, and they get a little exercise.

Its nice to go in the middle of the week when its not so busy and you only have to wait a few minutes to go on the attractions. So you can be there for an hour or two, have dinner and go on a couple rides and then head home.

Plus the park has great environment. :)
