Tempest675, I liked A Stroke of Midnight. Definitely a Hamilton fan!

Yeah, I love her writing. I need to read her other series, the Anita Blake stuffs, too!

Brian,
I'm going to have to take the opposite view on this. I think he's more of a foe. The great part about him as a character is that you don't really know where he stands. He has to be one of the all time great spies.

Kim

While my fave character is Hermione, I think the best, most interesting character is Snape. Conflicting issues and emotions, no one is sure of his loyalty, etc.

I'm still on the "friend" side of the fence, though. My one reason - Dumbledore trusted him.

Brian

(Can't wait for July 21 - my wife and I have two copies reserved so we can both read at the same time!)
I am now reading Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper. Can anyone guess what my next book will be? (Hint, read my firs post.)
I've always felt that moniker of the series to be unfair. Not only does Mark Twain, in my opinion, severely over-exaggerate the number of times Cooper used broken twigs, but the esteemed Samuel Clemens seems to have forgotten what it is like to walk off the trail through a forest! There are twigs EVERYWHERE on the ground. But, enough of my little tirade. You, sir, are correct in your assumption as the series I am reading. Though, technically, that is not the question I asked. =D

I'm reading my new computer manual!!!

HP Pavilion Media Center with Intel Core 2 quad processor - 640GB HD - 3GB DDR2 SDRAM - Vista Home Premium - which seems OK so far...and I kicked in a few extra bucks for the Media Drive so I have 300GB on a removable drive too! Time to rip all my movies and CDs to PC!

Gary,
Is this a computer that you custom ordered? I don't think I've ever seen a computer advertised with that much on it. Enjoy.

Kim
