TOPIC: Gencon Personal Costumes for 08'

Post your costume projects for this year that you'd like to share.

Assuming I can get all the pieces together, which is going to be very tough, I will be doing a King Henry VIII look-alike costume.  It will be the look from before he got screwed by syphilis and was a good swordsman.

<br /><br />Heh.  I need to work on my language skills.  The look from when he was mature and still a good swordsman, but before he got screwed up by syphilis.  As for how, there are plenty of portraits of him to glean information from as well as portraits of other people and styles from the period.  Obviously I'll probably be off in some ways, but once it's put together, it should look fairly decent.

I was thinking of putting something together for when I am in the tavern, but I probably won't be in there long enough to make it worth my time.  =[<br />Maybe I'll just wear my peasant/swordswoman outfit.

Unknown as of yet - I figured I'd start planning GC/TD stuff when school gets out.  Might be hard to find a French Maid costume in my size, though!<br />

I'm hopefully gonna get to expand on my pirate themes...which probably surprises nobody.  =D<br /><br />I keep thinking of branching out, but why try to fix something that works. One of the main things that'll be different is the new job is whipping me into shape...already lost just shy of 40 pounds and more to go with the heat now, and I may be shaving my head because of it too.<br /><br />
