*giggles* What can I say, I like walking.
And the dland resort is a great, safe place for me to do my walking and I also can encorporate plenty of stairs into my routine too.
I love my friday walks!!!!
I probably couldn't run to save my life with my forms of asthma, but I can quickly walk up a storm. heehehhe
Thanks y'all I didn't expect anyone to say anything. I was just soo jazzed I had to tell someone, eheheheheh *smiles*

Wow, you must be the one person here in California that doesn't need a car to get anywhere.

I heard about some crazy Pixie walking down the freeway the other day. Now I know who it was. ;)

Yes, well when you don't have a drivers license, you get around the way you can.
I'd have hardly called that a freeway. ;)

LOL

And why don't you use your wings? You could fly over things and get places faster. ;)

Yes, well when you have to be 6 inches tall to use those wings, distances seem to increase dramatically. VS. being able to have averaged 3 ft stride length per step.

Average based on regular step 2' 8", speed stride 3' 4". Average between to account for change in pace due to walkway traffic patterns of 3', and being able to do about a 4 mph pace for hours. You could see how that is much more productive. ;)

Oh, that makes sense.
He He

Now just out of curiosity, how long does it take to walk 28 miles?

Basically I averaged a 3 mph pace for about 10 hours.
My pace significantly slowed once my folks joined me, otherwise my average might have been higher. :)
But I had a great time with them I wouldn't have traded that time.

WOW! Great walk!

I did 26 miles once as part of a Walk America fundraiser, but that was almost 25 years ago. I could probably only manage about 10 now.

Maybe TD should get a little red wagon and Dirtdazzy can pull people around all day. ;)

Well that would get my calves toned faster I'm sure. However, they find more creative ways to torture me. :P
Didn't get to do my walk on friday this week, but I did it on wednesday, did 20 miles. Not bad. :)
