First John Lithgow plays possessed by aliens, later he gets a tv show as a alien. The circle completes itself, hehhehehe.

Never saw perils, and I don't know who ms. kitane is either.
But gotta love 80's movies. Labyrinth, Goonies, those were the best, good times, good times.

Perils is a BB type adventure flick that was made in France I believe.

There is a bit of topless action - almost the entire movie...so I must caution that the movie is not for the young'ns. It is a classic flick that - IF you can find it on eBay is worth the price in laughs alone.

TK is the gal that used to be married to the guy from Whitesnake - she did some of the band's videos - she then went on to make Witchboard which has just been released on DVD - nice shower sceen at the end WINK.

She also did Hercules - she was his wife - and she was married to Steve Finley of baseball fame...she was in the news for kicking his butt during a fight...

Not obsessed with her, or anything - just a fan of about everything she has done. And I must confess Auburn hair is a favorite of mine...just ask my wife... :twisted:

And auburn or red hair is gorgeous!!! Out of my irish heritage I had always wished for the green eyes and red hair, but instead all I got was pale skin and freckles. Darnnit!

As for the topless stuff - you get numb to it quick as it is sort of done well - ala Barberella ( I think there was some gratutious TNA in that) Sorry if spelling and recollection are off - no work for me tomorrow and let's just say I have the juices flowing at the inn.

And Buckaroo Bonzai, though I can't get my wife to watch it, was just plain cool. Let me give you a little background on my introduction to BB. I had just finished LARP'ing in the Vampire LARP I played in, in Chicago. It was late (aka 3 AM) on Saturday morning and I had *nowhere* to sleep. So, a long-haired man in a business suit (who played the VERY creepy Malkavian Elder) comes up and invites me to "stay at his place". I was going to politely refuse when half the gamers there INSISTED that I have someplace to sleep that night (it had just started raining incredibly hard). So, he (and his wife, who showed up a second later to reassure me that he was not a raving psycho) convinced me to go and crash at their place. We drive for about 15 minutes, in the rain, get to their house and they start setting me up with blankets and whatnot for me to crash on the couch.

Everyone goes to bed, and after 15 minutes, I hear someone walking very quietly around. I sit up, and he's standing there, holding a DVD case in his hand. I swear this happened exactly as I'm telling it. He leans in close, lightning and thunder hit simultaneously and he whispers "I want you to see something..."

From there, he put on Buckaroo Banzai and we stayed up watching it. Funny movie, and the events leading up to it were even funnier. I went out and bought the DVD a few weeks later.
