*Rushes to find my kids chalk bucket, and old college statistics text....and wonders what exactly have I gotten myself into...*

This will be fun.

Jenn, I will see if I can create a "trade feedback" form.

However, if I can't or more likely if TD wants to would TD create some slips of paper for the voluntary trade feedback?

This could be just plain slips of paper or something more creative if the mood grabs anyone. Without feedback of what is being traded and for how much this board will be pretty bland.

Thanks

lol Gary, you truly are a Token addict. Just remember to actually enjoy the rest of the Con, at some point.

By the way, you've got a little left over token powder on your upper lip. ;p

TOKENS YUM!

OK here is the breakdown of my 30 bags...

WEAPONS and ARMOR = 3, 1, 1, 7, 4, 3, 1, 3, 6, 3, 3, 1, 3, 4, 3, 1, 2, 4, 5, 2, 2, 6, 1, 4, 0, 3, 1, 4, 4, 2. 87 total. ALMOST the 3 per bag average I estimated. Out of 30 bags ONE was a 00 bag! WHOO HOO - thanks to the Goddess of the draw!

In 30 bags I had 653 GOLD - about 22 per bag average (higher than expected based on my luck and estimated average - again thanks to the Goddess of the draw!)...no gem bigger than 50Gp (and I pulled only one of those - the bonus 00 bag was the most gold per bag at 155Gp - 3 blood stones and a moonstone - maybe why I averaged 22 instead of around 17gp per bag.) Get this I had FIVE (5) pouches with 0 gold!!!

Out of 36 different Rares possible I got 19 different tokens...this seems about right - (30 bags +2 in 00 bag = 32 rares - so about half are unique) ...I got:

5 Scrolls of Flame Arrow (this seems a bit excessive if on a bell curve)
4 +1 Great Swords (this seems a tad excessive if on a bell curve)
3 Elf Boots
3 Scrolls of Keen Edge
2 Scrolls of Slow Poison
2 Wands of Cure Lt Ws
17 single rares - including the gauntlets I always wanted, the matching elf garb the +2 cloak and the new nasties - full plate and Hvy Repeating CBow so I am happy - only about 8 or so that I really would like for my collection.

I would be curious to hear what others pulled...

So I went through all weapons and armor tokens and stashed away doubles of the ones I may "break" in any given adventure...I still have about 50 to trade or sell to the blacksmith....

Next I will have to look into Scrolls - YIKES that is a TON of Tokens!

My very rares? I only purchased 3 bags.

200 gp (cool!)
Scroll of Remove Disease (ugh)
Scroll of Remove Disease (ugh!)

For my rares, I got half-plate (+7 AC), Heavy Shield (+2 AC), Scroll of Protection from Evil, Scroll of Purify Food and Drink, Scroll of Knock, and one other (can't remember, 30gp I think). I also got several common scrolls (most are either all or divine: 2 detect magics, sanctuary). I got a couple of average weapons (battleaxe, quarterstaff) and a few minor weapons and armors (dagger, leather, studded leather).

I think my tokens are telling me to play the paladin or cleric.

I got 12 bags - just going through the very rares, here is what I pulled:

Wand of Cure Light Wounds
Wand of Detect Magic
Wand of Magic Missle
+1 Quarterstaff x2
Potion of Healing (5pts)
Gem - 200gp
Gem - 50gp
+2 Cloak
+1 Amulet of Armor
Scroll: Mage Armor
+1 Longsword

In total, got 406gp (200gp gem helped).

Further, I also received 25 Common weapons/armor, and 5 Rare weapons/armor (Lg Shield, G.Swordx2, G.Axe, Banded). Other notable rares inclue Thieves tools and a +1 cloak, and a plethora of scrolls/potions.

Looks like I should be a Cleric with this collection, no? :D Needless to say I got very lucky with my draws and I have no complaints. :)

I will post a first wag at the prices shortly but given the limited amount of gold, I think the prices will be lower than last year (roughly half?). Ill put some more thought into it but the more accurate adjustments are going to take place when the funtion of each token is more clear (FAQ?) and who can use them. For example, the demand for Elven gear will be less (rogues only) and so the price should be lower relative to other items. I'll post something later.

Got my twelve bags this morning - was off work yesterday and couldn't wait to get in for once lol.

Rares-

Full Plate (x2)
Gaunts of Ogre Power
Ring Feather Fall
Scroll Remove Disease
Wand Detect Magic
Scroll Mage Armor
Thunderstone
Potion Cure Light
Gems - 100, 75, 50

In all, I got 450g, which seems high to me.

If anyone wants to trade, I am looking for Bard items - guess I will have to wait until the info sheet is out to see what Bards can use.

Almost everything is up for grabs, except maybe the ring of course - although that depends on what is offered... What I really want is the repeating xbow and bracers. Can you sing and shoot at the same time in this game?

A quiet start to the day ... I don't have any new tokens to play with so I decided to spend a few minutes playing with them the only way I can...

I was wondering after reading over the token guide (very nice by the way) about detect magic and detect secret doors operation. Both will be using the UV light detection system. What happens if I find a red mark when using a detect magic potion or vise-versa? I'm sure someone has already thought of this but I was wondering what the plan was.

Beowulf,

Haha! I was thinking about this same thing. Are they going to restrict the area that one can use a UV light? For me, I was thinking I could cover a lot of ground in 30 seconds and really everything (Secret Doors and Magic) in one swoop.
