This was personally acquired from one of the GMs after our 11pm event on Saturday night at GenCon Indy. I don't know anything about these coins (like which ones are out there), except that I was told the purple ones are Ultra Rare, which is what this one is. I have no camera to take pics, so I'm solely relying on my feedback and if that means losing money on it, I'm fine with that.

I thought Jeff said that six rings of regeneration were released into circulation by accident. This might be one of them.

Hmm, I've noticed 2 people with a continual interest in the tokens. Garrote, and wildmotionfilms. Feeling a bit outclasses myself, being a moderately poor college student.

Are these people in the forum?

Woah, I think I can shed some light on where those came from. Sorry, I'd have posted sooner, but my work schedule has been insane and I've not been on in the last couple days.

I was working as a gopher/runner on Saturday night. One of the rooms that had Ultra-Rares radioed for some more, as they were out. The admin guy in the break-room handed me a stack of 6 Rings of Regen and asked me to take them to the room, so I did.

100:1 that's what these are from. I saw what they were as I ran to the room, but didn't know they were being kept out of the dungeon mix, or I'd have taken them back. I'm guessing this is a legit player auction from a guy who got lucky and scored one of these late that night.

And back to the original post... yes, the new UR's printed for Indy did use ".com" in place of a picture.

I agree completely. The gentleman selling it was shocked with disbelief at

how high it's going for and emailed me to confirm my intent to purchase.

A pefectly reasonable reaction to seeing his little wood chip soar to

unexpected heights. I reassured him and explained the intrinsic

importantance as well as the serendipitous event that led to his receiving

it. My only concern is the competition.
