That doesn't surprise me. I have to leverage some fairly complicated formulas and features of Excel to generate this without the use of macros (which Numbers would hate macros anyway). I think it would be easier for the online to be tweaked than to get the spreadsheet iPad capable. I'm not sure exactly how the online was created, but it seems to be a problem with what triggers a picture pop-up versus what triggers the behind-the-scenes code that selects the token. I'll be happy to test if our programmer wants to try things out and doesn't have an iPad. We should probably test it on an Android-based tablet as well.

Pretty cool idea.

I'm all up for using technology to help things along. I keep trying to get them to take me up on my offer of a bunch of laptops so they can just do everything using the XLS or character generator. My Kiosk idea. Maybe next year :)

There are some glitches in the character generator still. I only played with it for a few minutes, but the Rings of Enervation and Brilliance don't seem to add to damage, and the Dwarven Dire Axe isn't available to the dwarf.

Another Spreadsheet question and problem;

Problem; Defender Set dosent appear to recognized, no bonuses or mention when adding helm, shield and armor.

Feature Request/Question/Suggestion: Can you add a reset button on each Char page that resets the page to default?

Feature Request/Question/Suggestion: Can you add a check box to disable/enable purple tokens? A lot of folks are suggesting Red Only runs this year (or red or under) and it might be nice to be able to toggle the URs on and off?

Found the issue with the set bonuses. Not sure what happened there as they were working.

The clear button would be doable if I used macros. I'd like to get some opinions on this as it will require the xlsm extension and enabling of macros each time the spreadsheet is opened. I've tried to avoid macros to keep things simpler for the user.

I'm not sure how I would implement the Red Only feature you are requesting. Even leveraging macros, I would only be able to clear the purple equipment. The user would have to manually select the red equipment they wish to replace the purple. With that in mind, I'm not sure there is any benefit.

Found two bugs this morning working in the spreadsheet. I was working in the Ranger, Fighter, and Dwarf Fighter pages and was able to replicate both bugs in all 3.

1) Equipping the +1 Mithral Long Sword equipped in either hand does not count toward Mithral Set bonus.

2) Equipping Crown of Might, Girdle of Might, and Boots of Might causes the tables page to assign the 3 piece set bonus for ALL sets (not just Might) to that character and the character will remain 4th level.

New version that should fix all of the set bonus related items.

Version 2012.82 - Dated 5/1/2012

- Switched to xlsm extension to allow macros

- Added buttons on each character sheet to clear contents

- Added button on Equipment sheet to clear all character sheets

- Fixed set bonuses

Bug Report - Website Character Equipper

The Crown of Might is acting oddly in conjunction with an equipped melee weapon.

Used by itself, the Crown correctly provides a +1/+1 hit/damage bonus.

When worn along with an equipped (+1 or higher) melee weapon, the crown loses the +1 to-hit bonus.

Example -

Naked Barbarian - +3/+3
Barbarian with Crown - +4/+4
Barbarian with Non-Magical Weapon and Crown - +4/+4
Barbarian with +1 Melee Weapon and Crown - +4/+4 (Should be +5/+4)
Barbarian with +1 Melee Weapon - +4/+3
Barbarian with +2 Melee Weapon and Crown - +5/+4 (Should be +6/+4)
Barbarian with +2 Melee Weapon - +5/+3

While playing with the character builder, I noticed something odd. The +2 shock damage from my Eel Skin Gloves and the +2 damage from my Brawlers Mug both show up in my stat line as added damage in melee. The +2 fire damage from the Bracers of Fire don't do the same. Is this working as intended, or is it a bug?

I know the TD crew isn't busy at all right now. :whistle:

But, any projection on when the graphical token character generator will be updated with the bug fixes and the brought up to compliance with the new character cards? If it helps, I can throw together an error/compliance issue report.
