You don't have to do it all over if you don't want to. Just download the file, open it, and fill out one character. If you dig it, you can do more. If you don't like it, don't do anymore work on it. It'll take you all of two minutes to fill out one character.

No
Well, sort of, but not really
You can view the file in Office for iPad, but you can't edit it. So if you completely filled out the character(s)/party card on your desktop, you could see the completed file on the iPad.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

Do you have full office for Ipad? I would think it would work fine then

Technically, the "full" office isn't full. If I want to abandon compatibility with OpenOffice and leave all cells unprotected, I can now make it compatible with iPad Office. Protection is available in Office, but it is all or nothing. You can't select at a cell level. So it would be very easy for someone to accidentally break functionality or override logic. That's the main reason I haven't yet embraced the changes.

They have finally added pivot tables to the mobile versions, so maybe someday it will gain selective protection.

Does this have the new Grind party card integrated into it?

I didn't know Grind had its own party card. I've only played Grind once and that was several years back. Only the standard party card is implemented.

Meh. If I want a non editable version, I just save the sheets as pdf files. I'd don't need any office to open those.

Consider this an "Aye" vote.

As an OpenOffice user I'd rather keep compatibility :)

For those who are interested in using mobile Office on iPad, I have posted an unlocked version on my website. This is not a fully tested approach and is not protected from accidental breaking of the structure. It will likely not run smoothly in OpenOffice as it needed to be in a newer Excel file format (xlsx) to work on the iPad.

For those brave enough to try it, please let me know how it goes. It MAY also work on Android tablets and smartphones, but I have not tested on either.

If it is as simple as saving an unprotected xlsx version, I can host both versions on my website as it is easily done. If massive tweaks are needed, though, I will have to stick with the version that doesn't work on iPad.
