What do you mean? The Orb of Might issue was people equipping a melee offhand item in their ranged offhand.

This is about people equipping melee weapons in their melee hands, and other items when using magic. Jeff via Druegar have made it abundantly clear that:

1. Ones hands must either be empty or contain items compatible with magic use (presently only "of focus" weapons, +2 Staff of Power, shields, Bard instruments, and wands).

2. What goes in ones hands when using magic has absolutely no bearing, interaction, or effect with what goes in ones hands while engaging in melee or ranged, or what set bonuses are in play in any way.

The problem with the orb of might was that people were equipping it for a mode of combat that it wasnt meant for in order to gain a bonus while NOT in that mode of combat.

That sounds similar to what is happening with the 'of focus' weapons. There are, in a way, 3 modes: melee, ranged, and other. Spellcasters are trying to equip a melee weapon in their 'other' hand slot to gain its bonus. But it is a melee weapon...which happens to give a bonus while not in melee combat. But these weapons are designed to be balanced as melee weapons with a spellcasting bonus. If you give the spell bonus but dont have to take the stats of that weapons, why make these weapons at all?

The point of making them weapons was to take up that slot to get the bonus.

I have confirmed with Druegar that the character designer is in keeping with the current rules and processing of the party card. No new slot is required. To receive the Of Focus spell bonuses on the party card, the respective tokens have to be equipped in existing slots. Like any other handheld item, you must choose the ones you wish to declare for the party card that provide the best overall benefit.

I thought I mentioned this before but maybe it was for one of the other character generators. Bracer of the Quivering Palm is missing it offhand entry on the Token Data tab.

I went ahead and added it for myself, since no one else has noticed it seems a very low priority to fix.

Two other edits I always make on the tables table is to change the Charm of Awareness and Charm of Synergy = =IF(SUM(AM3:AX3)>10,10,SUM(AM3:AX3)) so it only calculates to 10 max no matter how many are in the party.

Thanks. I've updated the future 2018.04 copy with these fixes (and went ahead and applied the 10 max to the rest of the token checks in that section).

I can currently wear the 2018 Raider's Belt and Raider's Cloak as hats (both are listed as Head slot in Token Data).

The Faebane Belt and Faebane Girdle are missing the RangedToHit and RangedDamage modifiers. This is keeping the +1 Iron Long Spear (Thrown), +1 Thrall Faerie-Iron Skull, Iron Long Spear (Thrown), Thrall Faerie-Iron Skull, and Iron Hand Axe from picking up the Iron bonuses. Iron Hand Axe probably needs a (Thrown) entry as well.

I also noticed in the Effect 1 column there are some possible duplicates:

Environment Immunity
EnvironmentalImmunity
EnvironmentImmunity

Slip / Fall
Slip/Fall

I was not able to equip spiked buckler in ranger ranged offhand. Tokendb says that is allowed.

Did you have a 2-handed ranged weapon equipped? The Spiked Buckler only works with 1-handed ranged weapons (opposite of the Archer's Buckler )
