TOPIC: Ring of Heroism Expiration Date

The Rings are currently out of stock, but we will have more in stock when the 2017 tokens arrive in February. We MAY also have a handful come available in a week or so -- as I am trying to borrow some from the big collectors to keep everyone as happy as possible. My apologies for not ordering enough in the first place!

If we do get some in stock in a week or so, I will let y'all know here only.

I've got one extra if anyone needs one in the short term.

My overall question and one that was initially raised. Is the transmute deadline specifically for the Ring of Heroism being extended beyond the traditional Dec 1st?

So...going back to an original question, will the expiration date for transmuting the rings be officially extended into 2017?

Also, I'm just trying to get another ring so I can let a player borrow it at GHC. Will vouchers be used there to allow players 5th level in lieu of the ring if I have the ingredients with me?

I'm fine without extending the deadline (or extending, whatever) - but! I do want to transmute a few more, I can wait till they show up in the new shipment, I just don't want to miss the window.

If the restock is going to happen in February 2017, that would raise an interesting point.

What would be cool is if the web gnomes could add a survey, or preorder, or something to the token store for future transmutes, where people could reserve a certain number of tokens before Jeff places the order.

If there's another 3-common-transmute next year, and I hope there is, it would help Jeff know if there's likely to be a run on them.

There would have to be some disincentive to exaggerating interest though. I can't just say reserve 1000 and then only take 10. Maybe if you abuse the system (ordering fewer than 90% of what you reserved, if the shortfall is greater than 3) you can't use it next year. Or something like that.

But if it wouldn't be helpful for planning then never mind.

It's not a big deal if you think about it. We preorder tokens every year and get them months later.

Gah, finally pulled all the ingredients together for the ring and to do my first transmute and now it looks like that will have to wait. I will be doing a run at GHC so hopefully either the vouchers or some of those emergency rings Jeff mentioned he is pulling in will make it out to the public.
